Worship

The Book of Common Prayer bids us, “Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: Come let us adore him.” Adoration is central to the worship of the church. Trinity Episcopal Church seeks to be both Catholic and Reformed and maintain a balance that springs out of our sense of the Presence of God and our need for worship to maintain a sense of reverence, awe, and joy. At a Sunday morning service you will experience a service of worship that reflects that sense of balance.

All ages are welcome, and a nursery is provided for the very young. A special feature of our main service is “The Historical Note.” This short talk seeks to place The Episcopal Church in the larger context of the history of the Anglican Communion. As we grow in our experience of worship we are mindful of the challenge from St. Benedict to “Give the strong something to yearn for, and the weak nothing to run from.”
