About Trinity

Trinity Episcopal Church is a mission of the Diocese of Dallas and is an entirely new congregation.  We began a  reorganization in the summer of 2010 and while thankfully a few of the original members are still here; new members are arriving every week and former members who have not been here for several years are returning.  This is an exciting and formative time in the life of our congregation.

We believe that Holy Scripture is inspired by God and authoritative for both life and practice.  We are sensitive to the Tradition of our Episcopal and Anglican heritage as it comes to us through the richness of The Book of Common Prayer and the Hymns of the Church.

As you might guess from our name, “Trinity Episcopal Church,” we are Trinitarian.  That means that we worship God in Unity and treasure our relationship with God the Father Who loves us; that we center our lives on His Son Jesus Christ Who is our Redeemer, Lord and Friend; and with gratitude we open our hearts to the guidance of the Holy Spirit Who reveals to us the Father and the Son.

The love of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit flows abundantly within the Trinity and pours out to touch us all.  In the warmth and excitement of that love we seek to reach out to others and draw them into the same experience of the love that is re-creating us as a community.

Because we are so very new, there is an open place of belonging for you.  Do come visit us!
